Quickstartguide for iDTRONIC UHF RFID Readers
(R-DT-EVO-UHF and R-STICK-EVO-UHF)
Installation UHF-Version
Please refer to this installation guide to start both software and reader successfully.
1. Download the appropriate software from:
https://www.idtronic-rfid.com/support/sdks
2. Unpack the zip folder to a folder of your choice.
3. Open the folder
“Card Reader UHF SDK”
or
“Embedded UHF SDK_R830”
and
then open the folder
“06_Demo Software”
.
4. Start the file
“iDTRONIC - Reader Demo Tool Setup 1.61.33d.exe”
(or newer
version) and follow the installation procedure.
5. Connect the reader to USB-Port of your computer.
6. Check in the Windows Device Manager if the driver for the USB-Port is installed.
If it is not installed, then click on this driverless port and select update driver-software,
please use the driver from the folder
“04_USB-Drivers”
.
7. After successful installation, start the software at menu item
“iDTRONIC - Reader
Demo Tool
”
in programs.
8. Open the dropdown menu
“Reader”
and select add, and then select your Reader.
