About System Setup
System Setup enables you to quickly and easily set up your N3150, N3220, and N3240 storage systems
using best practices and optimizing performance. You can use this software to configure your network,
storage, and protocols with either a single storage controller or HA pair. You do not need additional
licensing to use the software, and System Setup supports CIFS, NFS, and iSCSI protocols.

About configuration worksheet
While setting up your storage systems by using System Setup, you need to provide configuration
information. Use the editable configuration worksheet to gather this information before configuring your
storage systems.
Installing and configuring System Setup
Procedure
1.
Complete the configuration worksheet.
2.
Cable the Windows client and storage controllers to the same LAN or VLAN.
3.
Download the System Setup installer (
IBM_SystemSetup.exe
) from IBM N series support website on
your Windows client.
4.
Run
IBM_SystemSetup.exe
to install System Setup on your Windows client.
5.
Run System Setup.
