are
designed
to

sounds
louder
so

at
most
a
mild
loss
of
hearing
can
listen,
communicate,

participate

fully

daily
activities.
These
devices
are
pre
‐
programmed
to
provide
a
mild
boost
in
loudness
for
speech
ques
and
music
listening
and
will
amplify
soft
sounds
while
keeping
louder
sounds
less
altered.
These
devices
are
not
suitable
for
children
under
36
months
of
age.
Well
maintained,
these
devices
can
have
a
lifespan
of
up
to
six
years.
