Quick Operator’s Guide

SETUP

This procedure is for water-base paints and flushing fluids. For solvent-base paints and flushing 

fluids (i.e. mineral spirits), you must read Fire and Explosion Hazard in the Operating Instructions.

* check the Graco operations manual delivered with the unit for more details.

WARNING

Remove cup. Fill 3/4 full. DO NOT
OVERFILL. Reattach and latch cup.

Turn fluid control out until trigger movement is not restricted.
Caution: Turning knob too far will remove it.

Connect air hose to gun and turbine.

CHOOSE THE RIGHT FLUID NOZZLE

For low flow rates or light 
viscosity fluid, select smaller
nozzle sizes.

For high flow rates or high
viscosity fluid, select larger
nozzle sizes.

Installing the Fluid Set

1. 
Use your hand to loosen and remove the air cap retaining (A) and the air cap
housing (B).

2. 
While triggering the gun, use your hand to loosen and remove the nozzle (C)
from the gun.

3. 
Use your hand to loosen and remove the fluid knob assembly (D) and com-
pression spring (E) from back of gun and remove the old needle.

4.
Insert the needle assembly (F) into the back of the gun. Replace the nozzle
(E,D) air cap housing (C,B,A) and air cap retaining ring and tighten by hand.

NOTE: O-ring (G) should always be on the nozzle.
