To activate
your TTU tracking device, take off the tape on magnet. Be sure to
keep this magnet, you will need it later if you wish to shut it off or reset the
device. Think of it as the “key.”
When the magnet is off the device
is “on” and
when the magnet is on the device is “off.”

Installation:
You are responsible for securing the device so it does not fall off.
Test the device it to make sure it works well.
Once you take the magnet off, you have about 30 minutes to complete
installation tests.
YOU MUST GET A SUCCESSFUL LOCATE
before letting your
trailer go anywhere. Please see the instructions about checking your satellites and
RSSI (aka cell signal) included in a separate handout. You should make sure the
device will locate in your selected location on the trailer.
You want to place the device on the outside of the trailer with the top facing
toward the outside of the trailer. Some people find the bumper area of the trailer
a prime location.
If you are unable to complete the installation tests in 30 minutes you can always
put the magnet back on the device for 5 minutes, then take it off, and the device
will turn on for an additional 10 minutes.
