ASSEMBLY:

Remove the parts from the packaging and check that they are

complete. Check that each rope harness is correctly assembled

as shown in the Diagram 1, Assembly instructions.

Place the swing platform on the ground. Insert the foam-

covered tube frame pieces into each of the four side loops.

Connect the four tube frame pieces together. Ensure that one

narrow end and one wide end is put together in each case.

Align the holes in both pieces, insert the bolt with a washer

through the aligned holes and place another washer and a nut

on the opposite end. Tighten using the wrench provided.

While the nut has a nylon sleeve designed to keep the bolt

from loosening, we recommend that the nut be checked for

looseness before each use.

Always supervise children and teach them to use the equip-

ment safely.

Tuck in all clothing that can get caught on playground

equipment and remove loose accessories such as scarves or

dress-up capes.

Only use under direct supervision of an adult! This product

must be used with caution, to avoid falls or collisions causing

injury to the user or third parties. Before use, check all parts

for proper fit and ensure that all locking devices are secure.

Only suitable for private, domestic use. The owners of the

swing, as well as competent supervisory personnel, are

responsible for ensuring that all users enjoy this product in a

safe manner.

Do not make any modifications to this product. Adjustments

must only be carried out according to these instructions.

Keep others a safe distance away from the swing when in use.

Never stand or kneel on the swing. Always hold firmly with

both hands.

No objects of any kind must be in the vicinity of the swing

area (trees, walls, fences, clothes lines, etc.). Make sure that

the ground is level, shock absorbing, and without any sharp

edges, pointed objects, obstacles, inclines, differing levels,

steps or hard surfaces. Rake surface periodically to prevent

compaction and maintain appropriate depths.

Make sure that you have a safety clearance, in front and back,

of at least 2 m (80 in) beyond the maximum reach of the

swing. Clearance between the swing and stationary compo-

nents, such as swing scaffolding, must be at least 40 cm (16 in)

on each side. The swing must be at least 40 cm (16 in) but no

higher than 2.5 m (99 in) measured from the ground. Other

swinging components, such as a neighbouring swing, must

be placed at a distance of at least 60 cm (24 in) away,

measured while at rest.

Constant exposure to UV in sunlight can lead to fading of the

colour, but will not affect performance or safety of the swing.

The swing should be dismantled and stored indoors if not

used for an extended period of time.

Take off bicycle helmets before using playground equipment.

Bicycle helmets can get caught on equipment and strangle a

child.

Check playground equipment for ropes. Do not let children

tie ropes or skipping ropes to playground equipment.

HANGING THE SWING AND ROPE ADJUSTMENT:

Please note that this swing is designed to be used and hung from

an existing swing set in place of a conventional swing with

sufficiently strong swing hooks and a nylon bearing. This swing

does not include mounting hardware for any other type of

installation.

Hang the swing from a suitable swing frame using the retaining

rings (Diagram 1). Hanging points must be at least as far apart as

the swing seat is wide plus an additional 10 cm (4 in). The swing

has two ropes and adjustment loops so that the height of the

swing can be adjusted to fit any suitable hanging device. The

swing ropes can be lengthened or shortened by pushing or

pulling it through the adjustment loops. No one should sit on the

swing while making adjustments. When making adjustments,

ensure that the ropes remain the same length on both sides.

Differing rope lengths will cause undesirable circular pendulum

motion of the swing. If in doubt, perform a few gentle swings.

WARNING: Children have died when their clothing or draw-

strings have been caught on playground equipment or on

fences. Children have also died when they became entangled on

ropes or skipping ropes attached to playground equipment.

WARNING: Please retain this information for future reference.
