Removing the
dR

CAution
: Wear
safety gloves
and take
care when
handling the
planer drum.
The planer
blades are
very sharp.
1.
Place the
planer on
its side
so that
the motor
is facing
down.
2.
Raise the
drum guard
to acces
s the
drum locking
screw, located
in the
center
of the
drum.
3.
Insert the
Allen key
(supplied with
your tool)
into the
head of
the drum
locking
screw.
4.
Depress the
spindle lock
button and,
using the
Allen key,
rotate the
drum.
anti-clockwise until
the spindle
lock engages
.
5.
Unscrew the
drum locking
screw and
set it
aside.
6.
Remove the
2 flat
washers and
set aside
.
7.
Carefully remove
the drum
from the
unit.

Place the
planer on
its side
so that
the motor

2.
Raise the
drum guard
and insert
the sanding
drum into
the housing
and on
to the
spindle.
3.
Insert the
large washer
so that
it engages
the tip
of the
spindle.

washer must
be
correctly seated
in order
to
secure the
drum.
4.
Place the
small washer
on top
of the
large washer
.
5.
Insert the
drum locking
screw and
hand tighten
to engage
the threads.
6.
Insert the
Allen key
(supplied with
your tool)
into the
head of
the drum
locking screw
.
7.
Depress the
spindle lock
button.
8.
Use the
Allen key
to rotate
the drum
clockwise until
the spindle
lock engages.
9.
Firmly tighten
the drum
locking screw
until the
drum is
secured in
position.
10. Release
the spindle
lock button
and close
the drum
guard.

veiligheidshandschoenen
en wees
voorzichtig bij
het hanteren
van de
schaaftrommel. De
schaafmessen zijn
zeer scherp.
1. Leg
de schaafmachine
op zijn
kant zodat
de motor
naar onder
ligt.
2. Til
de trommelbeveiliging
op om
bij de
vergrendelingsschroef te
komen, die
in het
midden
van de
trommel zit.
3. Stop
de inbussleutel
(bij het
gereedschap geleverd)
in de
kop van
de vergrendelingsschroef.
4. Druk
de spilvergrendelingsknop
in en
draai met
behulp van
de inbussle
utel de
trommel
linksom tot
de spilvergrendeling
ingrijpt.
5. Draai
de vergrendelingsschroef
los en
leg hem
aan de
kant.
6. Verwijder
de twee
platte sluitring
en en
leg ze
aan de
kant.
7. Verwijder
voorzichtig de
trommel van
het gereedschap.

voorzichtig bij
het hanteren
van de
schuur
trommel.
De schaafmessen
zijn zeer
scherp.
1. Leg
de schaafmachine
op zijn
kant zodat
de motor
naar onder
ligt.
2. Til
de trommelbeveiliging
op en
stop de
schuurtrommel in
de behuizing
en
op de
spil.
3. Breng
de grote
sluitring zodanig
aan dat
deze de
punt van
de spil
raakt.

grote sluitring
moet goed
op zijn
plaats zitten
om de
trommel vast
te
zetten.
4. Doe
de kleine
sluitring bovenop
de grote
sluitring.
5. Breng
de vergrendelingsschroef
van de
trommel aan
en draai
hem met
de hand
vast om
aan
te grijpen
met de
schroefdraad.
6. Stop
de inbussleutel
(bij het
gereedschap geleverd)
in de
kop van
de vergrendelingsschroef.
7. Druk
de spilvergrendelingsknop
in.
8. Gebruik
de inbussleutel
om de
trommel rechtsom
te draaien
totdat de
spilvergrendeling
aangrijpt.
9. Draai
de vergrendelingsschroef
stevig aan
totdat de
trommel goed
op zijn
plaats
vast zit.
10. Laat
de spilve
rgrendeling los
en sluit
de trommelbeveiliging.
