 NOTE!

This explicit procedure for installing the wall mounts on the box cover has to be done

before

cabling

in the box

!

If only PoE is used, the sealing insert with one 6 mm hole is adequate.

Bracket Wall Mount G-Cam/EBWM-003 (Screw connection))
Step 1:

Prepare the wall mount like shown. The rubber surround (G-Cam/EBDA accessory)

must be plugged over the wall mount outlet.

Step 2:

First pull the network cable through the nickel-plated conduct

of the G-Case/JBX. Now the cable must be lead (see picture) through
the plastic conduct, the slot of the sealing insert into its center and the
nickel-plated fitting. Than push the network cable through the wall
mount and the G-Cam/EBDA-00x (see picture).

Step 3:

The connection to the camera has to be done

in

the G-Cam/EBDA, if the camera owns fixed cable whips.

Or in the camera, if the camera is cable less.
Fix the respective camera with the matching screws (G-Cam/EBDA accessory pack) onto the adapter.

Step 4:

Screw this combination into the wall mount and press the

rubber surround close to the adapter, like shown in the picture
right hand.

The example at right hand (G-Cam/EFD-3266) shows the combi-
nation after completion. To mount the G-Cam/EBDA-001 please
follow these steps, too.

The four fixdomes EFD-3247/3257/3410 and 3430 do NOT own cable whips.
Follow the

steps 1 and 2

as described for G-Cam/EBWM-003. Note that a rubber surround is not needed here.

Step 3:

Pull the network cable through the cable gland as shown here. Close

the side opening of the camera with the screw cap. The lateral view should be
now as shown in the picture right hand.

!)

Step 4:

Stick the network cable into the RJ-45 plug inside the camera and carefully pull it back through the cable gland. Also

do this (like it is described in step 2) into the G-Case/JBX.

Step 5:

Place the open camera housing inside the G-Cam/EBDA and fit it with the 2 M4 screws from the adapter’s acces-

sory kit.

Step 6:

Place the camera cover onto the camera socket (note the blue arrows) and close it with the 2 security torx screws.

Step 7:

Stick the EBDA into the wall mount and turn it counterclockwise until you can

see the thread in the wall mount´s drilling hole. Fit the adapter with the screw set from
G-Cam/EBDA accessory kit. Take care of the correct order (see pic.).

The combination  wall mount should look as shown here:

Note! None of speed domes (like G-Cam/ESD or /GNSD) may be mounted!

Step 8:

Stick the sealing insert (Step 1) into the plastic conduct.

The sealing audibly snaps in when it reaches its correct place. Push
the plastic conduct into the nickel-plated conduct of the G-Case/JBX
(you find the only correct position by turning the plastic conduct). Fix
the nickel-plated fitting slightly. Carefully pull the network cable
through the box cover, until the wall mount stops few centimeters over
the fitting.

Finally fix the fitting.

Step 9:

Place the wall mount on the box cover like shown here.

Step 10:

Using the accessories of the G-Case/JBX.

In each case take a screw with a flat washer and stick it through the
four holes in the wall mount and the G-Case/JBX cover.
Inside the box place 2 seal rings each over every screw, then a flat
washer, one spring washer and one hexagon nut.
