This information provides the installation instructions for the junction box IF-8540. The units pre-installed in the junc-
tion box change depending on the configuration purchased.

A maximum of six sensor adapters can be installed in the junction box (MC-300S-N included). In the case of config-
urations

, you can install the optional MC-3010A-N and MC-3020D-N additionally. When an additional unit
is installed, prepare the optional sensor adapter and cable assy.* as shown below.
*: For power supply and data communication, it is necessary to connect a cable assy. between sensor adapters. One
cable assy. is necessary per each additional unit.
• Sensor Adapter (Type: MC-3010A-N, no coating, for analog input)
• Sensor Adapter (Type: MC-3020D-N, no coating, for digital input)
• Cable Assy. (Type: AI.14-8AI.34-6L1000, Code No.: 000-177-250-10)
The table shown below indicates included items in the junction box. The quantity of included items changes
depending to the configuration purchased.
