Connecting to the FaroArm Quantum S
Connecting
1.
Download and install the FaroArm USB driver from the Faro website here (download instructions
also included):

On selecting the link for download, a new tab will open up where you can download your driver.

Make sure the FaroArm is plugged in and switched on.

Insert the FaroArm’s USB cable into the USB port of your computer.

First you will need to select the protocol to use. To do this, navigate to the ‘
Tools
’ tab and select
‘
Configure
’.
4.1.
The following configuration box will open, and you will need to select the correct protocol. To
do this click the ‘
select
’ button.
The parameters button, as suggested, allows you to change some of the parameters associated
with the device i.e.: scan density etc
4.2.
From the list, select ‘
Faro Devices
’, and then ‘
OK
’.
