INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

1.

If an adaptor ring is required in order to attach the macro lens to your housing lens port (see

Compatibility

above), attach the adaptor to the macro lens by screwing it in.

2.

During the dive, install the macro lens by screwing it on to your housing lens port. It is
recommended to apply a small amount of silicone grease on the threaded area in order to prevent
corrosion.

3.

Please note that the SharpEye Lens M55 was designed to work underwater only

. Therefore, the

lens should only be installed underwater, while letting water enter the gap between the macro lens
and the housing lens port. Make sure that there are no air bubbles trapped between the accessory
lens and the housing lens port.

4.

When taking photos with the macro lens installed, set your camera focus mode to “MACRO”.
Failing to do so shall result with blurred images.

5.

The macro lens can be removed and installed repeatedly throughout the course of the dive.

6.

When removing the

SharpEye Lens M55

from the housing lens port, it can be secured by attaching

it to the

EyeGrabber Lens Holder F55

(Cat. No. 4052), which mounts on any standard Flex or B&J

Arm, or a different EyeGrabber Lens Holder if using an adaptor with the lens. For a selection of
EyeGrabber Lens Holders available, please visit our website at
