This instruction sheet contains vital informa-

tion for the installation, use and efficient operation of the heater.
Carefully read the manual before installation, operation, or cleaning
of the heater.  Failure to adhere to the instructions could result in
fire, electric shock, death, serious personal injury or property dam-
age. Save these instructions and review frequently for continuing
safe operation and instructing future users.
1.

Do Not operate heater without both support leg extensions 
properly installed.(See Fig. 1) Do not allow heater to operate 
in any position except as shown in this manual. 

2.

When moving heater always use (2) handles, one at each end
of heater.  Never pick up heater in center.

3.

This heater is to be used on the floor only.  Do not use on shelf,
table, bed, or any location except the floor.

4.

This heater is a major electrical appliance and requires
adequate electrical power for safe use.  The outlet to which the
heater is connected must be a 120 volt , AC circuit protected 
by a 15 or 20 amp fuse or circuit breaker in accordance with
the National and Local Electric Codes.  No other major 
electrical appliance can be operated on the same circuit as the
heater.

To prevent electric shock match wide blade of plug to wide

slot in outlet and insert fully.

6.

Plug heater power cord directly into the electrical outlet.
Never use an extension cord with this heater.

7.

Heater surfaces may reach high temperatures during use.
Keep all electrical cords, drapes, bedding materials and other
furnishings away from heater. Never place anything on top of
heater.  It is recommended that a space of at least twelve (12)
inches be maintained around heater.

8.

Do Not store or use gasoline or other flammable vapors of 
liquids in the vicinity of this heater.

9.

Do Not use this heater near water (as in a wet basement or near
swimming pools) or in a very humid environment.

10. When heater is not to be used for an extended time, turn off

heater by rotating thermostat knob to “OFF” position and 
unplug heater. Wrap power cord to prevent damage and 
move heater to safe place for storage.

11. Keep this heater clean.  Do not allow dirt or dust to accumulate

around element fins or the outlet grille area.  See Cleaning
Instructions section of this manual.

12. If this heater or its power cord becomes damaged or malfunctions

in any way, unplug heater, discontinue use and have unit 
repaired by a reputable repair service.
