Carriers are deploying next-generation networks that
provide converged IP services over a common Ethernet
Transport network in an effort to maximize revenue. With
this convergence, network operators face complex opera-

of subscribers with varying requirements all supported

The Command Line Interface (CLI) method of configura-
tion, most commonly used today, involves time-consuming

network.
