SAFETY ADVICE
General Information
When using this appliance, it is essential that you follow all safety advice: Never allow the appliance to fall into the hands of children. Children do not understand the dangers that may occur when using electrical
appliances. This appliance is not a toy. Children should neither use it nor play with it. You should therefore always keep the appliance out of the reach of children!
1) It is essential that you carefully monitor use of the appliance when children are close by.
2) This product is designed for a 12V/230V circuit. Please ensure that the product is connected to a plug socket that has the same configuration as the plug.
3) Do not use the appliance if the connecting cable is damaged or if the appliance contains other defects. Never attempt to open the appliance yourself or to replace the connecting cable. The appliance
should only be repaired by a specialist workshop. Improper repairs may result in considerable danger for the user.
4) If an extension cable is required, please ensure that the electrical data of this cable at least correspond to those of the appliance. Please seek advice when purchasing an extension cable.
5) Remove the adapter from the socket:
a) when you have finished using the appliance,
b) in order to clean the appliance,
c) if the product displays any faults or disturbances when being used.
6) Keep the power cable away from heated surfaces.
7) Never pull on the cable; instead grab hold of the plug in order to disconnect the appliance.
8) Never leave the appliance unattended when connected. Unplug the massage mat when it is not in use and when attaching or removing parts or accessories.
9) The appliance is only designed for private use.
10) Do not use the appliance on animals.
11) If you pass this appliance on to third parties, please also pass on these instructions for use.
Usage Information
1) Do not use outdoors.
2) Never carry the massage mat by its cord or using the remote control cable and never use these to hang the massage mat.
3) In order to avoid damage to the appliance, never bend it over edges or tuck it in. When the appliance is not in use, roll it up.
4) The mat should not be used when covered (e.g. under a duvet). Do not wrap it in towels as this may cause a fire hazard.
5) Do not stick any safety pins or similar items into the massage mat.
6) Do not step on the appliance.
7) Do not use the appliance during a storm.
8) Using the massage mat for too long may lead to overstimulation.
9)
Do not try to grab the mat if it falls into water. If this occurs, unplug the appliance immediately.
10) Do not use the mat in rooms in which aerosol (spray) products are used or into which oxygen is pumped.
11) Do not use the massage mat near the eyes or close to other sensitive parts of the body.
12) In order to turn the mat off, set the “ON/OFF” switch to “OFF”. Check that all functions have stopped and then unplug the appliance.
13) Only use this appliance for the purpose described in the instructions for use. Do not use any attachments or accessories that were not included with the appliance.
14) Do not lay your head directly on the massaging units.
15) Do not use when sleeping.
16) Keep the massage mat out of the reach of children.
OPERATING THE MAT
1) Connect the supplied power supply unit to the massage mat then insert the plug of this power supply unit into a 230V socket.
2) Press the “ON/OFF” switch on the remote control to turn the massage mat on.
3) Select a massage programme: Press the button marked “MODE F1-F5” on the remote control. The LED indicators F1-F5 on the remote control show you which massage programme is activated. You
can choose between 5 types of massage: rubbing, kneading, flapping, pushing and light tapping.
4) Select the massage zone: You can choose between four massage zones, each of which can be controlled individually:
Neck, Back, Hips, Buttocks/thighs
Press the corresponding button on the remote control to select your chosen massage zone.
5) Set the message intensity: You can choose between 3 intensity levels:
LOW (L) / MIDDLE (M) / HIGH (H)
To select your desired massage intensity, press the “INTENSITY” button on the remote control. The indicators L / M / H show the intensity level that is currently selected.
6) Warming function: Your massage mat also contains an additional warming function. To activate this warming function, press the “WARMING” button on the remote control. When you have turned this
function on, the LED “WARMING” indicator will light up.
7) Pre-programmed timer function: The massage mat already contains a pre-programmed timer function, which automatically switches the mat off after:
a) 15 minutes when the warming function is not being used
b) 30 minutes when the warming function is being used
CLEANING
1) Ensure that you have unplugged the mat from the mains supply and that you let the mat cool down before cleaning it.
2) Never place the mat in any liquid in order to clean it. Clean the fabric cover by wiping it with a damp sponge with some mild cleaning agent. Dab this away with a clean dry towel.
3) Do not use any abrasive cleaning aids, brushes, products containing petroleum or kerosene, glass/furniture polish, paint thinner or water hotter than 49°C to clean the massage mat.
The power supply unit must be unplugged before you clean the massage mat. Let the mat cool down and then wipe it clean with a clean damp cloth.
STORAGE:
Store the massage mat in a box in a safe, dry and cool place. Do not let it come into contact with sharp edges or pointed objects that may cut the fabric or make a hole in it. Do not wrap the power cable
or remote control cable around the mat. Do not hang the mat by its power cable or remote control cable.
Environmental Protection Information
When the massage mat reaches the end of its service life, you are not permitted to dispose of it in your normal household waste, but must take it to a recycling point for electrical and electronic appliances. This is shown by the symbol on the
product, instructions for use or packaging.
As is shown by their markings, the materials of this appliance can be recycled. With the reuse, material utilisation or other forms of recycling of old appliances, you are making an important contribution
towards protecting our environment.
Please contact your local council to identify the responsible disposal site for your old appliance.
