• Check that the CCTV camera is powered up.
• Check that the monitor is powered up.
• Check that the video cable connecting the camera to the monitor is connected properly.

• Clean the lens (using a soft, clean cloth).
• Check that the light source is adequate.
• Clean the dome.

• If the backlight control (BLC) DIP switch is set to OFF, try setting it to ON.

• Check that the automatic electronic shutter (AES) DIP switch is turned OFF.
• Adjust the monitor’s contrast knob.

• Change the position of the camera.

• If multiple cameras are used, make sure the polarity of the power connections is consistent.
• (24VAC only) If more than one camera is attached to the same power source, adjust the

other camera’s linelock sync.  This camera cannot be adjusted.

•  Change the position of the camera.

•  Check that the correct power supply is in use.

The screen is blank

The screen image is dim

The screen image is dark

The screen image has poor contrast

The screen image flickers

The screen image rolls

The screen image is distorted

The camera case is hot
