Cautions
1. In case of any danger immediately switch off and unplug the
shredder from the mains.
2. Keep children away from this machine. The design and safety
concepts are based on adult dimensions to ensure it can be safely
operated by adults only.
3. Do not place hands or fingers into the shredder throat as serious
injury could result.
4. Keep all loose articles of clothing, ties, jewelry, hair or other small
items away from the feed opening to prevent injury.
5. Remove all paper clips and staples from paper before shredding.
Unit will cut staples, however it is not recommended.
6. Do not immerse the shredder, power cord or plug in liquids. Keep
aerosol sprays away from this machine.
7. Continuous shredding of computer paper should not exceed 2
minutes. If continuous use is required, it is recommend that the
shredding time should be 2 minutes on, at least 60 minutes off to
allow for proper cooling of the motor.
8. The socket outlet shall be installed near the equipment and shall
be easily accessible.
9. Always turn off or unplug the shredder prior to moving, cleaning or
emptying the wastebasket.
10. The maximum number of sheets that can be shredded at any one
time is
5 sheets of 80gsm paper. Thicker paper should be shredder singly.
11. Empty wastebasket frequently.
