ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS / INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
Unpack the components carefully. Please check all parts have been removed from the packaging.
BEFORE FIRST USE
Hand wash kettle with hot, soapy water. Rinse and dry the exterior thoroughly
TEA KETTLE USE&CARE
Remove lid and fill whistling kettle at least half full with clean water before placing on stovetop. Do not
overfill. Maximum water level is just below the spout of the whistling kettle.
Ensure that the lid is properly secured to the top of the whistling kettle.
Use medium to medium-high heat only.
Once the kettle begins to whistle, the water is boiled. Turn off heat, remove kettle from heat source and
allow at least 10 seconds after boiling before pouring.
To avoid hot water spills, pour water away from your body and at low angle to your cup or other vessel.
Pouring from a high angle can cause hot water to splatter and cause burns.
Allow kettle to cool naturally on a heat-resistant surface before refilling.
To prevent warpage, always allow your kettle to cool before adding any cold water. If damage is
apparent, the kettle should not be reused.
DESCALING YOUR KETTLE
Your kettle should be descaled on a monthly basis to lengthen the life of the kettle, maintain the energy
efficiency and ensure a clean interior appearance.
Fill the kettle up to the "MAX" level with a mixture of one part white vinegar and two parts water and
bring to a boil. Allow to boil for 5 minutes.
Let the mixture remain inside the kettle overnight.
Throw the mixture away the next morning.
Fill the kettle with clean, cold water up to the "MAX" level and bring to boil.
