risk of injury.

Construction

The wooden components are manufactured from long lasting
acetylated wood and finished with a nontoxic stain. All edges
and corners are rounded for safety and ease of cleaning.

Stainless steel hardware is used throughout and all end grain
is protected by UV resistant plastic guards formulated to
ensure long life in outdoor environments.

Maintenance

The tables and seating can be left outside all year around.
Acetylated wood weathers to a natural silver-grey if left
untreated. Over time outdoor surfaces may darken with
mildew. To remove, scrub with a cleansing agent.  When dry,
apply a nontoxic, penetrating stain, then apply a nontoxic
mildewcide to minimise mildew growth.

If you wish to maintain the original finished look of the
tabletop while using paint, protect the work surface with
an appropriate cover.  Scrubbing to remove paint stains may
also remove some factory stain.  However, this will not affect
weatherproofing.

Periodically inspect for splinters, broken or loose parts, and/
or malfunctions. Remove from service when any condition
develops that might make operation unsafe.

Cleaning

Mud and dirt can be removed with scrub brush and water.

IMPORTANT

Recommended Use

The Outlast tables and seating support many outdoor
activities including eating, art projects, manipulative
and dramatic play.  They are available in Low, Medium,
High and School heights, and can be used almost any-
where outdoors as a combined set or individually.
The smooth wooden table top provides a stable, gap-
free work surface.   The wide stance of the legs ensure
stability and maximises leg room.
Seats and benches are wide and stable. Handles in
the centre of their tops enable easy hauling. Detached
from the tables, they promote open ended play and
unlimited arrangements: at a picnic table, circled up
for group gatherings, as balance beams, or for large
muscle play.
