If wires are cut or power is disconnected while armed, the siren
will sound. If disconnected for servicing while
it remains
silent. As such, there is no need for the overkeys other sirens need.
Through our CliffordWizard software (see
for
details), you can choose from among 15 different siren sound
patterns for customization and distinct recognition from a distance.
Your new siren’s internal battery will take a total of 6-8 hours of
driving time reach its full charge. You certainly don’t need to drive
that long immediately, but understand that if the siren wires are cut
by a thief before the internal battery is fully charged, it may not be
able to sound for its full 5 minute duration. If the internal battery is
completely uncharged, the normal arming/disarming chirps will be
silenced to alert you of the problem.
