•  The solar lantern is intended for outdoor use

but it should not be placed where it may be

drenched in water or other liquid.

•  The solar lantern should not be placed next to

direct sources of heat such as a brazier or BBQ.

•  If you have several solar lanterns they can

come on at different times depending on the

lighting conditions.

Care and maintenance

•  The lantern should be carefully wiped clean using a

soft, dry cloth.

•  The solar cell should be wiped regularly (and

carefully) to prevent dirt and debris from affecting

its performance.

Battery replacement

The rechargeable battery can be replaced as follows:

1.  Set the power switch to the OFF position.

2.  Remove the screws on the bottom of the solar cell unit.

3.  Carefully open the housing. Be careful not to

damage the wires, contacts or circuit board.

4.  Change the battery making sure that the new

battery is inserted with the correct polarity.
