Digital Timer Switch

Please read the entire instruction manual before using and 
save it for future reference. We apologise for any text or 
photo errors and any changes of technical data. If you have 
any questions concerning technical problems please con-
tact our Customer Service Department.

1. Functions

1.  Timer switch with photocell for outdoor use. Ideal for 

saving energy and for home safety.

2.  Extra large, easily readable display.
3.  Random function for turning lights on while you are out 

to deter burglars.

4.  Built-in photocell for automatic light controlled 

operation.

5.  Adjusts to summer/winter time.

2. Buttons and Functions

Description Function

MENU

Press to enter the programming mode or 
clock mode

OK

Press to confirm setting. In normal time 
mode: Press and hold in the button to en-
ter time setup mode. Press OK and then 

[+/

]

 to show summer time.

[+/

]

Press to advance the time. 
In normal time mode: Press in the button 
to change mode: ON – AUTO ON – OFF 
– AUTO OFF

- /RND

Press to reduce the time. 
In programming mode: Press to activate/
deactivate the random function (RND).

RST

Reset/delete all settings. After a few se-
conds the time will be reset to “0:00”.

3. Setting the time

1.  In normal time mode: Press and hold in OK for 2 seconds 

(until the the time digits on the display start to flash).

2.  Press 

[+/

]

 or  - /RND to set the correct time, press 

OK to confirm your setting.

3.  “00” (minutes) will flash on the display, press 

[+/

]

 or - 

/RND to set the minutes, press OK to confirm the setting.

4.  The current time setting will flash on the display. Press 

MENU to exit the time setup mode. The set time will 
now be displayed.

5.  Activating summer time. Press OK, 

[+/

]

 will 

appear on the display. The time will advance an hour. 
Press OK again to return to normal time display mode 
(deactivate summer time).

Note!

 The display must be in normal time display mode for 

time settings to be made. If the display is in programming 
mode: Press OK twice to return to normal time display mode.

4. Programming

Photocell

1.  In normal time mode: Press MENU. The display 

indicates that you have entered the programming 
mode, 

 flashes.

 shows the photocell’s sensitivity setting (the 

lower the setting the more sensitive the photocell).

“ON” indicates that the photocell has activated the 
timer switch

“OFF” indicates that the photocell has deactivated 
the timer switch.

2.  Press 

[+/

]

 or  - /RND to set the photocell 

sensitivity, press OK to confirm your setting.

Start time

3.  Set a start time for the timer switch: “00” for the hours 

will flash on the display. Press 

[+/

]

 or  - /RND to 

set the desired start time, press OK to confirm your 
setting.

4.  “00” for the minutes will flash on the display. Press 

[+/

]

 or  - /RND to set the desired start time 

minutes, press OK to confirm your setting.

Stop Time

5.  “00” for the hours will flash on the display. Repeat 

steps 3 and 4.

6.  Press OK to confirm the setting. Press MENU to exit 

the setup and return to normal time display mode.

Note! 

• 

When the timer switch is setup correctly and activated, 
AUTO ON or AUTO OFF will be displayed.

• 

When the timer switch is in programme mode, the 
switch is activated when the light fades and the display 
shows AUTO ON. The timer switch turns off when the 
light gets stronger and the display shows AUTO ON.

5. Setting the random function 

  for the photocell

1.  This only works in the programming mode when AUTO 

ON or AUTO OFF is shown on the display. Press 
-/RND to activate the random function.

2.  RND appears on the display when the random function 

is activated.

3.  In random mode the timer switch turns on/off randomly 

for 10 to 26 minutes.

4.  If the timer switch is in AUTO OFF mode, the photocell 

will not react to the light level for 10 to 26 minutes. If 
after this time the light level is high, the timer switch will 
remain off until the photocell senses that the light level 
has dropped.

5.  In the random mode the timer switch will be activated 

for 10 to 26 minutes, it will then be deactivated for 10 
to 26 minutes.

6.  These on/off operations will continue until you turn off 

the random function.

7.  Turn off the random function by pressing -/RND again.

Note!

 When the random function is activated it controls the 

timer switch and overrides the AUTO ON and AUTO OFF 
functions.

6. Bypass or return to 

  programmed setting 

1.  Press 

[+/

]

 to return to a programmed setting or 

bypass it. The display will show current setting:
• 

ON: This bypasses the programmed setting, the 
timer switch is on all the time.

• 

AUTO ON / AUTO OFF: The programmed setting 
will control the light.

• 

OFF: This bypasses the programmed setting, the 
timer switch is off all the time.

2.  Erase all programmes like this: Push RST. Note! If this 

is done, all programming will have to be done again.

 

7. Connection 

1.  Prepare the timer switch as instructed above.
2.  Turn off the device/s that you are going to connect the 

timer switch to.

3.  Connect the device/s to the timer switch socket, and 

then plug the timer switch into the wall socket.

4.  Switch on the connected device/s.
5.  The connected device/s will now be controlled by the 

programmed settings (or bypassed by pressing 

[+/

]

.

8. Note

1.  Do not position the timer switch where it could be 

influenced by street lighting or similar, interfering with 
the photocell.

2.  The backup batteries will be fully charged after 

approximately 2 hours connection to the mains.

9. Protect the environment

Sort your waste and recycle products instead of throwing 
them away. All electronic products, batteries and all packa-
ging material should be sorted and handled according to 
local environmental regulations.
