Massage Pillow

and then save it for future reference. We reserve the right for any er-

•
This product can be used by children aged from 8 years and above
if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of
the product in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
•
Never let children play with the product.
Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by children
without adult supervision.
•
Never leave the product unattended when it is connected to a
power supply.
•
The product is not designed as a piece of equipment for
medical treatment.
•
The product is intended for indoor use only.
•
Make sure that the product is disconnected from the power supply
before it is cleaned.
•
Never subject the product to high temperatures, dust, heavy vibra-
tion, impacts, humidity or moisture.
•
Position the product where there is no risk of it falling into water
or any other liquid. Do not place any objects which contain liquid
near the product.
•
Never unplug the adapter from the mains power supply or 12 V
power supply with wet hands.
•
If the product is plugged into the mains or a 12 V power supply and
falls into water: make sure that the product is disconnected from
the respective power supply before touching it.
•
Do not use the product if either of the adapters, cables or any part
or the product is damaged.
•
Never try to open the housing, repair or modify the product in any way.
•
Repairs must only be carried out by qualified service technicians
and only using original spare parts.
•
Never overload the product by sitting or standing on it.
•
Do not cover the product during use, as this may cause it to overheat.
•
If the product has been stored in a cold environment, it should be
allowed to adjust to the ambient room temperature for at least one
hour before it is used.
Health considerations
•
Contact a doctor before using this product if you are pregnant,
use a pacemaker or have any of the following medical diagnoses:
diabetes, heart disease, malignant melanoma or a condition which
requires substantial rest.
•
If soreness, rashes or pain result after use, discontinue use imme-
diately and contact your doctor.
•
Never use the product on swollen or inflamed areas. Do not use
the product on skin lesions or open wounds.
•
The product has a heating function. Users who are sensitive to
heat should use the product with care.
•
Only use the product for a maximum of 15 minutes during any one
session.
Instructions for use
Connecting to a power supply
Connect the appropriate power adapter to the massage pillow and
plug it into a wall socket or the 12 V power outlet of a vehicle.
Never have the massage pillow connected to the power supply
during a thunderstorm.
1. Press the [ON/OFF] button once to turn the massage pillow
on. The massage nodes inside the massage pillow will begin
rotating and illuminate, which indicates that the heating function is
activated.
2. Pressing the button a second time will change the direction of
rotation.
3. Pressing the button a third time will switch off the heating function.
4. Pressing the button again will switch the massage pillow off.
The direction of rotation of the nodes inside the massage pillow
changes automatically after approximately 1 minute.
The massage pillow automatically switches off after approxima-
tely 15 minutes.
Placement
•
Place the massage pillow onto the area to be massaged. Begin
using the massage pillow carefully, gradually increasing pressure
against the massage pillow until it feels comfortable and relaxing.
•
The massage pillow has an elastic strap that can be used to hold it
in position for use while seated on a chair.
•
When massaging a leg, an extra cushion can be placed under the
massage pillow in order to reduce massage pressure.
•
A massage should always feel comfortable and relaxing.
Only massage using light pressure and never for longer than 15
minutes at a time. Massage that is too intensive can overstimu-
late muscles and cause tension and pain instead.
Care and maintenance
•
Store the massage pillow in a clean and dry place.
•
Avoid contact with sharp objects.
•
Clean the massage pillow by wiping it with a moist cloth. Use only
mild cleaning agents, never solvents or corrosive chemicals.
•
Unplug the power cord from the massage pillow and coil it after use.
•
Never hang the massage pillow up using the power cord.
•
Never attempt to repair the massage pillow yourself.
Troubleshooting guide
The massage pillow
will not switch on.
•
Check that the adapter is intact and prop-
erly connected to both the massage pillow
and wall socket or car power outlet.
•
Check that the power supply is switched on.
The massage pillow
shuts off unexpect-
edly.
•
The massage pillow has been used for
longer than 15 minutes and has therefore
automatically switched off.
•
Check all the connections.
•
The overload protection of the massage
pillow has tripped. Wait until the massage
pillow has cooled and can be turned on
again.
Responsible disposal
This symbol indicates that the product should not be disposed of with
general household waste. This applies throughout the entire EU. In or-
der to prevent any harm to the environment or health hazards caused
by incorrect waste disposal, the product must be handed in for recy-
cling so that the material can be disposed of in a responsible manner.
