Use
Functions
- When you press repeatedly on MODE the
functions change in the following sequence:
Normal time mode – Stopwatch – Alarm
clock – Adjustment mode for date and time.
- In stopwatch or alarm mode, press STOP or
RESET before you press MODE to go back
to normal time mode.
12 and 24 hour display
In normal time mode:
1) Press MODE three times to move to time
setting mode.
2) Press RESET twice to move to setting the
hours.
3) Press START repeatedly to increase the
hours. ”A” (AM) is shown on the display or
”P” (PM) when the watch is set to 12 hour
display. If neither ”A” nor ”P” is displayed,
the watch is in 24 hour clock display.
4) Press MODE to return to normal time mode.
Set Time
In normal time mode:
1) Press MODE three times to move to the
time setting mode. The seconds display
blinks.
2) Press START to reset the seconds display
to zero.
3) Press RESET for the minutes to start blin-
king and set the minute time.
4) Press START repeatedly to set the minutes.
The setting will advance quickly if you hold
in START.
5) Then press RESET and then START to set
the hours the same way as step 4.
6) Same procedure as above to set date,
month and day.
7) Press MODE to return to normal time mode.
Setting the alarm
In normal time mode:
1) Press MODE twice to move to the alarm
setting mode.
2) Press START repeatedly to set the hours.
The setting will advance quickly if you hold
in START.
3) Press RESET for the minutes to start blin-
king to set the minute time.
4) Press START repeatedly to set the minutes.
The setting will advance quickly if you hold
in START.
5) Press MODE to return to normal time mode.
Activate or deactivate the alarm by holding in
RESET at the same time as pressing START.
When the alarm is activated an alarm symbol
will appear on the display.
When the alarm sounds you shut it off by pres-
sing STOP. The alarm will sound again after
4-5 minutes. To shut it off permanently press
RESET.
Stopwatch
In normal time mode:
1) Press MODE once to move to the stop-
watch.
2) Press START to start the stopwatch. Press
once to stop.
3) Press RESET when the stopwatch is stopped
still to reset it to zero.
4) Press MODE to return to normal time mode.
You can record unlimited lap-times by pressing
RESET while the stopwatch is running. The
stopwatch is not visible, but continues to run.
Press RESET again to return to the stopwatch.
Hour signal
- Activate or deactivate the hour signal by hol-
ding in RESET at the same time as pressing
MODE.
- In activating mode all days are indicated
when the hour signal is on and unindicated
when the hour signal is off.
Background light
- Press LIGHT to light up the background light
for 3 seconds.
- Remember that frequent use of the back-
ground light consumes the batteries faster.
Care and cleaning
- Never try to open the casing.
- The watch can withstand some rough treat-
ment, but do not expose it to unnecessary
blows.
- Do not expose the watch to extreme tempe-
ratures.
- Clean the watch using a dry, soft cloth.
Avoid solvents and strong detergents since
they can cause damage to the plastic parts
on the watch.
- The watch is water resistant and can
withstand rain and splashes. It will not
withstand being put into water.
- Do not wear the watch in electromagnetic or
static areas.
Disposal
This wristwatch is operated on one Zn-Mn bat-
tery (alkaline battery). Follow local ordinances
when disposing of this product. If you are unsu-
re about how to dispose of this product contact
your municipality.
