Dear Valued Consumer:

Logan Outdoor Products, LLC d/b/a Camp Chef, in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), is 
sending you the enclosed replacement regulator for your Camp Stove Model MS40A with component gas regulators date coded 
“1923” through “2030”. Our records indicate that you are an owner of one of these affected camp stoves.

Description:

 This recall involves portable Camp Stove Models MS40A with component gas regulators date coded “1923” through 

“2030”. The Model name is located on the manufacturers label on the stove. The gas regulator date code is engraved on the 
regulator.

Hazard: 

An internal part of the gas regulator component may have a burr that may wear or tear a hole in the seal causing gas to  

leak out of the top of the regulator and potentially catch fire.

Instructions:

 Please destroy and discard the regulator included with your stove and replace with the included regulator. See 

below instructions for destroying the original regulator.

Warning: Read and follow all instructions in the product instruction manual included with the stove for removing and 

assembling the gas regulator to the stove and fuel supply and performing the required leak tests prior to igniting the stove.

Regulator Removal Instructions: 

1. Turn all valves on the stove to the off position by turning clockwise to a full stop and make sure all flames are extinguished.
