When using electrical equipment, basic safety 

precautions should always be followed including the 

following:

1.  DANGER

installation.

2.  This luminaire must be installed in accordance with the 

NEC or your local electrical code. If you are not familiar 

with these codes and requirements, consult a qualified 

electrician.

FOR FUTURE REFERENCE 

NOTE:

 Fixture can be mounted to any metal 1/2" NPSM threaded 

mounting (supplied by others).

NOTE: 

When mounting the fixture in an inverted position (1/2” fitter 

above fixture), mount fixture to a watertight junction box and cover. 

Also, caulk the conduit openings, around the junction box cover, and 

the wire entry end of the 1/2” fitter with a high grade caulking material, 

such as silicone rubber, to ensure water does not enter fixture through 
1/2” fitter.
1. 

Route fixture leads through hole in mount.

2. 

Thread mounting onto end of fitter on fixture and secure with 

locknut. Using thread sealant on the threads will ensure a 
watertight seal.

3.  Wire as indicated in 

Electrical Connections

 section.

4. 

Aim fixture by loosening screw on knuckle of fitter and rotating 
fixture to desired tilt angle. Re-tighten screw.

Mount fixture using (2) 1/4" (6 mm) fasteners appropriate for 

mounting surface. Slots in base of yoke can be used as a template 
for locating holes in mounting surface.

2. 

Aim fixture by loosening screws on sides of yoke and rotating 
fixture to desired tilt angle. Re-tighten screws.

3. 

Route cord from fixture to junction box where supply leads can be 

accessed. Seal entry of cord into junction box.

4.  Wire as indicated in 

Electrical Connections

 section.

1. 

For E-FFB08 and E-FFB11 fixtures mount using (2) 1/4” (6 mm) 

fasteners and washers appropriate for mounting surface. For 

E-FFB18 and E-FFB23 fixtures use (2) 3/8" (10 mm) fasteners 

and washers appropriate for mounting surface. Slots in base of 
trunnion can be used as a template for locating holes in mounting 
surface.

2.  Remove locking screw on side of trunnion.
3.  Loosen hex head bolts on sides of the trunnion.
4.  Rotate trunnion to desired tilt angle. Line up inner and outer 

trunnion locking holes.

5.  Insert locking screw, removed in Step 2, into matching holes of 

inner and outer trunnion. Tighten screw.

6. 

Securely tighten both hex head bolts on sides of trunnion.

7.  Wire as indicated in 

Electrical Connections

 section.

NOTE:

 Fixture is intended to be mounted on 2-3/8" (60 mm) O.D. 

heavy wall pipe or tenon.
1.  Pull supply leads through end of mounting pipe or tenon.
2. 

Wire cord leads exiting bottom of 2" fitter to supply leads as 

indicated in Electrical Connections section.

3.  Insert splices and cord into open end of mounting pipe or tenon.
4. 

Slip lower fitter over pipe or tenon, being careful not to pinch any 

leads.

5. 

Aim fixture by rotating on pipe or tenon to desired direction. 
Securely tighten (2) Allen set screws on fitter to 140 in-lbs 

 

(16 N•m).

6. 

Loosen (DO NOT remove) Allen head bolt holding two halves of 

fitter together. Tilt fixture to desired angle. Tighten bolt to 

 

132 in-lbs (15 N•m).
