Keyguard Electronic is a high quality range of products.
provided the safe is properly fitted, it carries an
overnight cash rating of £1000, or ten times this sum for
jewellery and valuables. If the precise rating is important
it is advisable to check with your insurance company.
Please read these instructions thoroughly before
attempting to use the safe, and initially perform all
programming operations with the safe door open until
you are fully familiar with the product
General Instructions
Any button activity is confirmed by a flashing of the
yellow LED. The maximum delay between 2 entries
may not be more than 20 seconds otherwise the last
entry will be deleted.
DO NOT LUBRICATE THE LOCK. IF NECESSARY,
LUBRICATE THE LOCKING BOLTS.
WARRANTY
• The Keyguard electronic carries a 12-month warranty
in respect of materials and workmanship.
• The warranty is valid upon presentation of a receipt
or invoice indicating date of purchase.
OPENING THE SAFE FOR THE FIRST TIME:
Remove the small black central plate on the front panel
Insert the key into the keyhole and turn it counter
clockwise; the door will now open by turning the handle
in a clockwise direction.
Open the battery cover on the back of the door; you can
now insert 4 "AA" batteries.
PROGRAMMING YOUR SAFE:
Open the safe.
With the door open turn the handle to throw the bolts into
the locked position, then remove the key.
Press the red button (This is on the inside of the door on
the hinge side).
You will hear one signal tone and the yellow LED will light
up; you now have 20 seconds to start programming your
code
Enter the personal security number that you wish to use;
your code can be between 3 and 8 digits. Now confirm
your entry by pressing the "E" button.
Your safe will emit a single tone to and show that the
programming was successful.
Now operate the safe several times with the door open to
ensure that your personal security code has been fully
accepted.
OPENING THE SAFE:
Input your personal security code then press the "E" button
The green LED will light up; you now have 5 seconds to open
the safe
Turn the handle clockwise to open the safe.
LOCKING THE SAFE
Push the door closed and turn the handle in a counter
clockwise direction. Your safe is now locked.
