HOT SURFACES (GREATER THAN 150°F / 65°C)
DO NOT LEAVE UNATTENDED.

Lights may become extremely hot (more than 150°F / 65°C) when left on

for more than five minutes and may become too hot to touch safely. While

on do not leave unattended. Do not set the light face (lens) down when

turned on. Do not handle the light until it has cooled.
This light is extremely bright. Do not look directly into the light or shine it

in someone’s eyes.
Do not hold the lens or bezel against any portion of the human body. Do

not place flashlight against combustible material or any material that can be

damaged by heat. Always use with adequate ventilation.

  CHOKING HAZARD

SMALL PARTS. NOT FOR CHILDREN UNDER 3 YEARS.
Browning lights are not toys. They are high performance lighting tools that

contain batteries and small parts. Use only under adult supervision. Failure

to follow this warning could result in serious injury to the child.
Keep all batteries out of reach of infants and children. Do not allow infants

and children to play with batteries. Do not place batteries in the nose, ears

or mouth. If swallowed they may become a choking hazard and/or may

cause electrical and/or chemical burns in the mouth or in the

digestive tract.
If any battery is swallowed, do not induce vomiting. Immediately contact

your physician, the Poison Control Center at 1-800-222-1222, your local

health care center or emergency care center, or the National Button Battery

Ingestion Hotline at 1-202-625-3333.

OPERATION

To turn the flashlight on, unscrew the battery cap and insert three new

AAA batteries into the chamber according to the diagram inside the

battery compartment. Reattach the battery cap. Push and release the

switch on the end of the flashlight and the light will activate on the

brightest setting (High).
There are three different operating mode/settings with this flashlight:
1. High
2. Medium
3. Low
To cycle through the operating modes/settings, press the main switch

repeatedly until you reach the desired setting.
This flashlight has a Spot to Flood feature. Rotate the bezel to toggle

between intense flood and precision long-distance beams.
This flashlight has a Quick Off feature. When the light has been on any

setting for more than three seconds, the light will turn off the next time the

main switch is pushed.
This flashlight has a Last Light Memory feature. When the light has been

on any setting for more than three seconds and is then turned off, it will

automatically return to that setting the next time the light is turned on.
This flashlight has a low battery indicator. When the battery reaches 20%

capacity remaining or less, the light will flash five times and return to the

setting it was on. When this happens, it is time to

replace the batteries.
This flashlight has an Electronic Battery Lock-Out

mode. By using the main switch, the battery can be

locked out so the light will not turn on accidentally in your pocket or pack.
When the light is “OFF”, hold the main switch down for three seconds to

activate the Battery Lock-Out mode. When the Battery Lock Out mode is

activated the light will blink three times. If you now press and release the

main switch the light will not turn on. The light will blink once to indicate

that the batteries still have a usable charge and that the light is in Battery

Lock Out mode.
To disengage the Battery Lock-Out mode, hold the main switch down for

three seconds. The light will then blink three times to indicate it is no

longer in Battery Lock Out mode.

BATTERY REPLACEMENT

Only use batteries made by a reputable manufacturer. Do

not mix old and new batteries, or different brands of batteries. Dispose of

batteries properly. Do not incinerate batteries. Do not attempt to recharge

primary (non-rechargeable batteries).

MAINTENANCE

Keep the light dry. Unscrew the battery cap ½ turn where possible to bring

the batteries out of contact, so the light cannot turn on accidentally.
Remove batteries when storing for a long period of time. Remove all dead

batteries from the light immediately or they may corrode and damage the

battery compartment.
Periodically rub a light coat of petroleum jelly onto the O-ring seals to

preserve their life.
