Paddlesports can be very dangerous and
physically demanding. The user of this product
should understand that participating in
paddlesports may involve serious injury or death.
Observe the following safety standards whenever
using this product. The user of this product
acknowledges both an understanding and an
assumption of the risk involved in paddlesports.
• Get paddlesport instruction from a licensed or
certified instructor.
• Obtain certified first aid and rescue training and
carry first aid and rescue equipment.
• Always wear a nationally-approved personal
flotation device.
• Never paddle alone.
• Always wear a helmet where appropriate.
• Dress appropriately for weather conditions;
cold water and/or cold weather can result in
hypothermia.
• Check your equipment prior to each use for signs
of wear or failure.
• You must not use alcohol or mind altering drugs
prior to using this product.
• Do not paddle in flood conditions.
• Be aware of appropriate river water levels, tidal
changes, dangerous currents and weather changes.
• Scout unfamiliar waters; portage where appropriate.
• Do not exceed your paddling ability; be honest
with yourself.
• Consult your physician prior to beginning your
paddlesport training.
• Follow the manufacturer’s recommendations for
the use of this product.
• If additional outfitting is added to this craft, use
manufacturer’s approved materials only;
do not impair entry or exit access.
• Read owner’s information package prior to using
this product.
Les sports de pagaie peuvent être très dangereux et
exigeants pour le corps. Les utilisateurs de ce kayak
doivent impérativement savoir que pratiquer des
sports de ce type peuvent entraîner des blessures
graves ou même la mort. Lisez attentivement les
consignes de sécurité lors de l’utilisation de ce
produit. Les utilisateurs de ce produit doivent
intégrer les risques inhérents aux sports de pagaie.
• Tenir compte des conseils d’un instructeur de
sport de pagaie licencié ou certifié.
• Obtenir une formation certifiée en secourisme
et sauvetage pour pouvoir porter les premiers
secours.
• Toujours porter gilet de sauvetage individuel
homologué en France.
• Ne jamais pagayer seul.
• Toujours porter un casque approprié.
• Porter des vêtements adaptés aux conditions
météorologiques. L’eau froide et/ou l’air froid
peuvent entraîner une hypothermie.
• Vérifier son équipement avant chaque utilisation
pour déceler des signes d’usure ou de défaillance.
• Ne pas boire d’alcool et ne pas prendre de
drogue avant d’utiliser ce produit.
• Ne pas pratiquer dans des conditions d’inondation.
• S’informer sur les niveaux d’eau de la rivière, les
changements de marée, les courants dangereux et
les changements de conditions météo locaux.
• Ne pas se surestimer et rester conscient de ses
capacités physiques.
• Consulter son médecin avant de commencer
l’entraînement et la pratique des sports de pagaie.
• Suivre les recommandations du fabricant
concernant ce produit.
• Si des équipements supplémentaires sont ajoutés
à cette embarcation, n’utiliser que des matériels
approuvés par le fabricant.
• Lire le dossier d’information du propriétaire avant
d’utiliser ce produit.
