T5 FLUORESCENT CABINET LIGHTING

IMPORTANT INSTALLATION INFORMATION 

 

Installation should be carried out in accordance with the current edition of the National Wiring Regulations. If in doubt, consult a 
qualified electrician. 

 

These luminaires are for indoor use only, under shelves, cabinets, pelmets bookcases and cabinets. 

 

Maximum Input Voltage– 240VAC 50Hz 

 

Ensure that ALL electrical connections are tight with no loose strands. 

 

Before commencing installation or maintenance, ensure electricity is switched off at the mains.  

 

100W maximum load when interconnecting fittings. 

 

Suitable for direct mounting on or in cabinets or furniture. 

IMPORTANT USER INFORMATION 

 

Replace failed lamps immediately. Allow the lamp and fitting to cool before replacing lamp. 

 

Check the lamp information label to ensure that correct lamp type and wattage is fitted. 

 

This luminaire is not dimmable. 

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS  

1. 

Use the luminaire as a template to determine the spacing between fixing brackets. 

2. 

Screw the brackets to the mounting surface with the screws provided. Beware of electric cables, water pipes etc.  

3. 

Clip the luminaire into the brackets.  

4. 

Luminaires can be used singly or can be linked together end to end or by using interconnection leads (available separately) if required. 
To connect together remove the plastic end cap and connect end to end or use an interconnection lead to space apart. Please note: 
These T5 luminaires can be connected together up to a maximum load of 100W, i.e. 16 x AU-T506S,  12 x AU-T508S ,  7 x AU-
TT513S, 4 x AU-TT521S etc. 

CONNECTION DETAILS

Brown (Live) Connect to mains supply Brown or Red

Blue (Neutral) Connect to mains supply Blue or Black 

o

 

An Earth connection is not required as these are Class 2 (Double Insulated) luminaires. 

5. 

This luminaire may also be connected to a fused spur, but requires protection by a 3-Amp fuse to BS1362.  

6. 

Plug the mains lead into the socket at the end of the luminaire. 

7. 

Connect to the mains supply. 

8. 

Energise the mains supply.

not be disposed of with other household or commercial waste. Aurora does not levy any WEEE disposal charges to its 
customers for affected WEEE related products. To prevent possible harm to the environment or human health from 
uncontrolled waste disposal, please separate any such product from other waste types and recycle it responsibly at your local 
facilities. Check with your Local Authority, Recycling Centre or retailer for recycling advice. If, when you purchased any Aurora 

product, your supplier included a WEEE disposal fee, you should then contact your supplier for advice on his takeback of the product for 
the correct disposal.

 

WARRANTY

case of improper use, tampering, and removal of the Q.C. date label, installation in an improper working environment or installation not 
according to the current edition of the National Wiring Regulations. Should this product fail during the warranty period it will be replaced 
free of charge, this is subject to correct installation and return of the faulty product. Aurora does not accept responsibility for any 
installation costs associated with the replacement of this product. This warranty is in addition to the statutory rights in your country of 
purchase. Aurora reserves the right to alter specifications without prior notice.
