corner of the home screen (Ex. 2).
• Click ‘Add New Device’ (Ex. 3).
• Enter the Wi-Fi network and
password for the network to which
the unit will connect (Ex. 4).

instructions to complete the pairing

• To reset the device to factory
defaults, press and hold the pairing
button for ten seconds and release
when the light begins rapidly

PAIRING PROCEDURE
• Plug the Smart Control Plug into an outdoor-rated
GFCI or indoor power source, and the unit will
automatically enter pairing mode.
NOTE:
The blinking blue light on the face of the
unit indicates the plug is in pairing mode and
ready to be connected.
• Download the Aquascape Smart Control App
(available on iOS or Android App Store).
• Open the Aquascape Smart Control App and click
‘Create New Account’ (Ex. 1).
NOTE:
If you already have an account, login with
your username and password.
WARNING:
It is recommended whenever working in or near water to
have all electrical devices plugged into a ground fault circuit interrupter
(GFCI) that has been installed by a licensed electrician.
• The power cable should be protected at all times to avoid punctures,
cuts, bruises, and abrasion.
• Operating the Smart Control Plug outside of the 1500 watt (1000 watt
per plug) operating range voids the product warranty and may damage
or shorten the life of the unit.

Aquascape, Inc. is not responsible for losses, injury,
or death resulting from a failure to observe these safety precautions,
misuse, or abuse of pumps or equipment.

3 YEAR WARRANTY
Aquascape Smart Control Plug is guaranteed for three years from
date of purchase. Proof of purchase required. Warranty does not
cover damage resulting from negligent handling, misuse or lack
of care. Warranty is valid against defects due to material and
workmanship only. Products returned must be cleaned, sanitized,
or decontaminated, as necessary, prior to shipment to ensure
that employees will not be exposed to health hazards in handling
said material. All applicable laws and regulations shall apply. The
sole obligation shall be to replace the defective unit with a suitable
replacement unit. Units should be checked for proper operation
prior to returning as defective. No liability for loss or damage of any
nature or kind, whether arising out of or from the use of the product,
whether defective or not defective, is assumed by Aquascape, Inc.
or it’s affiliates.
