GAS BURNING INSTALLATION MANUAL 

WITH DOUBLE WALL AIR‐COOLED CHIMNEY 

 

Keep these instructions for future use. 

This fireplace is to be installed ONLY by a con‐
struction  industry  licensed  contractor.  Any 
permits and construction industry inspections 
required  for  installation  should  be  obtained 
by this contractor. 

A)  KIVA  FIREBOX 

‐ A pre‐cast firebox consist‐

ing  of  real  hand  laid  firebrick  and  light‐
weight concrete. 

 

B)  EXTERIOR  FIREPLACE  FRAME 

‐  A  tubular 

steel and diamond‐mesh frame. The frame 
is finished with stucco after installation.  

 

C)  AIR‐COOLED  CHIMNEY 

‐  Lightweight     

stainless  steel  double  walled  air‐cooled 
chimney is used for venting the fireplace. 

 

D)  GAS  LOG  SYSTEM 

‐ Electronic Ignition Gas 

Log  Burning  System  is  operated  by  a  wall 
switch or remote. 

 

E)  FIREBOX  PEDESTAL 

‐  Concrete  blocks  are 

used to elevate the firebox.

and the buyer. Failure to do so will nullify the manufacturer’s warranty, and may cause 
serious fire hazard.
