tion and contains important information! It must be

place!

 ACO ShowerDrain Lightpoint

Function description

The ACO ShowerDrain Lightpoint illumination system consists of one
accumulator-operated LED module and a charging device. The LED
module is mounted in the top section of ACO bath drains (refer to
page 2).

In the case of water entering the drain, the module is activated
automatically and, with a continuous water inflow, it lights for max.
15 minutes. In the case of a renewed water inflow, the LED module
switches on again only after it air-dried before.

If the shower water inflow stops after less than 15 minutes, the
module still lights for a period of approx. two minutes, before the
module switches off automatically.

Charging process prior to initial use

Prior to initial use, the LED modules must be fully charged. This pro-
cess may take up to 18 hours. It must be made sure that the metal
contacts of the LED modules are free from dust, dirt and moisture.

Charging process during use

Depending on frequency of use, the LED modules must be rechar-
ged every three months. Before the LED module is inserted in the
charging device, it has to be cleaned with warm water and to be
completely dried thereafter. The metal contacts of the LED module
must be free from dust, dirt and soap residues.

Inserting the LED module in the charger

Each LED module leg may be inserted into the charging device. Ple-
ase pay attention that the module is correctly inserted. The correct
positioning can be taken from below illustration.

Meaning

Charging of LED modules takes place

Accumulator voltage already intensely dropped

or accumulator damaged. The charging device

nevertheless tries to recharge this LED module.

If, during the charging process, the charging

device does not switch over to slow blinking

(normal charging) within one hour, the LED mo-

dule is defective and may no longer be used.
