Before You Begin
1. Connect all IP cameras to PoE Camera Switch with Cat5, Cat5e, or Cat6
networking cable.
2. Connect all analog cameras.
3. Connect the Corporate LAN Port to your Site LAN.
4. Connect a monitor to the HDMI and/or VGA outputs. Dual monitors are sup-
ported.
5. Connect your mouse and keyboard (included) to any of the four rear USB
ports.
6. Connect power.
a. The V500 will automatically power on and boot into a Wizard which will
guide you through the configuration of your video recorder.
