Plug the PLA powerline extender (PLA4231) into a power outlet.
Push the power button.
Ensure that the LED’s are on. Make note that the HomePlug LED color will display the data rate between the
powerline adapters. Green is higher than 80 Mbps. Orange is between 20 and 80 Mbps. Orange is between
20 and 80 Mbps. Red is between 0 and 20 Mbps.

Connect the Ethernet port of one powerline adapter (PLA4201 v2 for example) to your broadband
router/ modem’s LAN port .
Plug the PLA into a power outlet
