Wireless Tutorial
This chapter gives you examples of how to set up the PLA450 and wireless client for wireless
communication using the following parameters. The wireless clients can access the Internet
through the PLA450 wirelessly. See
Chapter 6 on page 57 for more on the PLA450’s wireless
LAN configuration.
5.1 Example Parameters
In this chapter, the PLA450 is also referred to as an access point (AP). A computer with a
wireless network card or USB/PCI adapter is referred to here as a “wireless client”.
This chapter uses the M-302 utility screens as an example for the wireless client. The screens
may vary for different models.
5.2 Configuring the PLA450
Follow the steps below to configure the wireless settings on your PLA450.
1 Open the Network > Wireless LAN > General screen in the web configurator.
