You can also use a Y-Connector with a microfilter in order to connect both your modem and a
telephone to the same wall jack without using a POTS splitter.
1 Connect a phone cable from the wall jack to the single jack end of the Y-Connector.

Connect a cable from the double jack end of the Y-Connector to the “wall side” of the
microfilter.

Connect another cable from the double jack end of the Y-Connector to the P-660HWP-
D1.

Connect the “phone side” of the microfilter to your telephone as shown in the following
figure.

This section relates to people who use their P-660HWP-D1 with ADSL over ISDN (digital
telephone service) only. The following is an example installation for the P-660HWP-D1 with
