Reload the Configuration File: Via Console Port
The OMC is now reinitialized with a default configuration file including the default password
of “1234”.
21.5.3 Recovering the Firmware
Usually you should use the web configurator, FTP or the console port to upload the OMC’s
firmware. If the OMC will not start up, the firmware may be lost or corrupted. Use the
following procedure to upload firmware to the OMC only when you are unable to use another
method to upload firmware.

Obtain the firmware file, unzip it and save it in a folder on your computer.

Connect your computer to the console port and use terminal emulation software
configured to the following parameters:

Turn off the OLT-2300 and turn it back on to restart it and begin a session.

When you see the
