Use the
reload config
command to restart the system and use a different configuration
file (if specified). The following example restarts the system to use the second configuration
file.

When you use the
write memory
command without specifying a configuration
file index number, the OMC saves the changes to the configuration file the
OMC is currently using.
20.8.3 Restoring Configuration
Syntax:
copy tftp config <index> <ip> <remote-file>
where
This command restores the configuration file on the OMC. The following example uploads the
configuration file (
test.cfg
) from the TFTP server (
172.16.19.96
) to the OMC.
20.8.4 Resetting to the Factory Default
Follow the steps below to reset the OMC back to the factory defaults.

Enter
erase running config
to reset the current running configuration.

Enter
write memory
to save the changes to the current configuration file.
The following example resets both configuration files to the factory default settings.
sysname# reload config 2
<index> =
Specifies which OMC configuration file to overwrite (1 or 2).
<ip> =
The IP address of a TFTP server from which you want to get the
backup configuration file.
<remote-file>
=
Specifies the name of the configuration file.
sysname# copy tftp config 1 172.16.19.96 test.cfg
