11.3 Destination Filter Setup
Configure a destination filter in the
DA Filter
screen. Click
Advanced Application >
Destination Filter Status
and click a
Destination Filter
link to display the configuration
screen.

The following table describes the related labels in this screen.

DESCRIPTION
Port No
This read-only field displays the port index number.
Active
Make sure to select this check box to activate your rule. You may temporarily deactivate
a rule without deleting it by deselecting this check box.
Name
Type a descriptive name (up to 20 printable ASCII characters) to identify this rule.
ONU Name
Select the name of the ONU to which this rule applies.
MAC
Address
Type a MAC address in valid MAC address format, that is, six hexadecimal character
pairs. This is the destination MAC address of the packets to filter.
Action
Select
Discard
to drop packets to the MAC address specified in the
MAC Address
field. The ONU can still receive packets originating from the MAC address.
Select
PASS
to send packets to the MAC address specified in the
MAC Address
field.
The ONU still forwards the packets even when the applied classifier filter profile is set to
discard the packets.
Add
Click
Add
to save the new rule to the OMC. It then displays in the summary table at the
bottom of the screen.
Cancel Click
Cancel
to reset the fields to your previous configuration.
Clear
Click
Clear
to clear the fields to the factory defaults.
Index
This field displays the index number of the rule. Click an index number to change the
settings.
Active
This field displays
Yes
when the rule is activated and
No
when is it deactivated.
Name
This field displays the descriptive name for this rule. This is for identification purpose
only.
ONU Name
This field displays the name of the ONU to which this rule is applied.
MAC
Address
This field displays the MAC address of the packets that will be filtered.
