7.2.4 Step 4 Radio
Use this screen to configure the Zyxel Device’s radio transmitter(s).
•
Band
: Select the radio band you want to use on this radio. The radio band is unconfigurable if the
Zyxel Device does not support BandFlex (band selection on each radio). See

Channel Selection
: Select
Auto
to have the Zyxel Device automatically choose a radio channel that
has least interference. Otherwise, select
Manual
and specify a channel the Zyxel Device will use in the
2.4 GHz or 5 GHz wireless LAN. The options vary depending on the frequency band and the country
you are in.
•
Maximum Output Power
: Enter the maximum output power of the Zyxel Device. If there is a high
density of APs in an area, decrease the output power of the Zyxel Device to reduce interference with
other APs.
Note: Reducing the output power also reduces the Zyxel Device’s effective broadcast radius.
for models that support the 6 GHz band.
