2.4.3 ALARM Port Pin Assignments
The ALARM port has input pins and output pins.
Connect the alarm input pins to another piece of equipment so it can notify the MM-7201 of an
alarm. The MM-7201 signals an alarm when it detects an alarm on the
ALARM input pins or
in the MS-7206 system (for example, the voltage or temperature is outside the normal range).
To signal an alarm, the MS-7206 opens the circuit for pins 1 and 6 (the common pin) and
closes the circuit for pins 2 and 6.
