Getting to Know the NetAtlas IES-1000 EMS
1.2 Features
Real-Time Panel Display
NetAtlas shows the current status of the device, including LEDs and DSL ports using a real-time panel display.
The administrator can observe the real-time status of each device through the Internet.
System Maintenance
You may use the EMS to backup/restore configuration files, upgrade firmware and save/reboot a configuration.
System/Network Status And Performance Monitoring
System and network information such as IP, ICMP, SNMP, bridge and ADSL statistics can be displayed in tabular
or graphical (bar chart, pie chart or line graph) format enabling not just fast, accurate statistics (detect system
errors), but also trend analysis (analyze system errors and network congestion patterns). This information is
automatically refreshed every 10 seconds by default.
User Port Status And Performance Monitoring
The system administrator can query management information pertaining to a specific port. The EMS displays the
interface information in tabular or graphical (bar chart, pie chart or line graph) format enabling system
administrators to easily manage each subscriber link.
Versatile Reporting Capabilities
With NetAtlas, service providers can produce a variety of reports. Historical data can be saved in plain text format
or specific database format for later studies. System administrators can view this data in different formats (HTML,
graphical or database).
Security Control
Only authorized persons are allowed to perform network management. Administrators require passwords to
manage resources.
Subscriber Management
The system administrator can add, query and delete subscriber profiles stored in a file in Microsoft Access format.
Network Size
NetAtlas can manage up to 10,000 IP addresses, easily handling most large networks.
