Fast Leave
Ent er an I GMP fast leave t im eout value ( fr om 200 t o 6,348,800) in m iliseconds. Select
t his opt ion t o have t he Sw it ch use t his t im eout t o updat e t he for war ding t able for t he por t .
I n fast leave m ode, r ight aft er r eceiv ing an I GMP leave m essage fr om a host on a por t ,
t he Sw it ch it self sends out an I GMP Gr oup- Specific Quer y ( GSQ) m essage t o det er m ine
w het her ot her host s connect ed t o t he por t should r em ain in t he specific m ult icast gr oup.
This helps speed up t he leave pr ocess.
This defines how m any seconds t he Sw it ch wait s for an I GMP r epor t befor e r em ov ing an
I GMP snooping m em ber ship ent r y w hen an I GMP leave m essage is r eceived on t his por t
fr om a host .
