Troubleshooting
Problem
Possible cause
Remedy
The display does not function.
Battery discharged or no con-
tact between bike and battery
Ensure that the battery is fully
charged and correctly in-
stalled.
Ensure that the battery lock is
properly closed. This will avoid
the contact between battery
and bike being lost while riding
All the LEDs flash when the
control unit is switched on
One or both brake levers are
not in the starting position
Ensure that both brake levers
are in their starting position
(not actuated)
Broken cable of one or both
power cut-off switches
Contact the manufacturer.
The green LED on the charger
lights up, but the battery is not
yet charged.
Battery and charger not con-
nected in the correct se-
quence.
Ensure during charging that
the charger is connected to the
battery before the charger is
connected to the mains plug
socket.

My bike is unsteady and indi-
rect in handling
Bolt connections come loose
due to vibration
Check all the bolt connections
on handlebar, stem and wheel
axles.
