BGP4+ aggregation advertisement has been configured.
Configuring EBGP Multihop
To configure EBGP multihop, perform the following steps.
St-

Command
Function
1
ZXR10(config)#
router bgp
<

This enters BGP route
configuration mode.

ZXR10(config-router)#
neighbor
[<

ebgp-multihop
[
ttl
<
value
>]
This configures to establish
EBGP neighborhood over
non-direct connect networks.
The range of TTL is 1–255.
The default is 8.
Result:
EBGP multihop has been configured.
Example
Usually, EBGP neighborhood is established on the direct-connect
interfaces of two routers.
To establish EBGP neighborhood on
non-direct connect interfaces, the command
neighbor ebgp-m
ultihop
shall be used to perform EBGP multihop configuration, as
well as proper IGP or static route configuration to enable intercom-
munication between non-direct connect neighbors.T
This example describes how to configure EBGP multihop.
As shown in
, router R1 in AS 100 needs to establish
neighborhood with a non-directly connected interface whose id is
180.225.11.1 on R2 in AS300.
