Chapter 2 Alarm

Sub-code Description

Each sub-code represents a slot.

Effect on the System

The system heat dissipation performance is affected, which may cause error codes.

Possible Causes

The working temperature is too high.

The fan is set to a low position or cannot work properly.

The board hardware is faulty.

Handling Procedure

Check whether the working temperature of the equipment room.

If yes, check and ensure that the cooling devices are working properly.

If no, go to step 2.

Check whether there are alarms related to fan operations.

If yes, select

Setup > Shelf > Fan

and check whether the fans are set to a low

shift position. If yes, set the fans to a high shift position.

If the alarm persists, check whether the fans fail to work. If yes, replace the fans.

If the alarm persists after the preceding steps, it indicates that the board in the

corresponding slot is faulty. Replace the board.

2.4.5 4001 Outdoor temperature alarm

Alarm Property

Alarm Code: 4001

Alarm Information: The temperature of the outdoor monitoring device is abnormal.

Alarm Level: Major

Alarm Type: Environment Alarm

Sub-code Description

Sub-code 1: The temperature is low.

Sub-code 2: The temperature is high.

Sub-code 3: The temperature is invalid.

Effect on the System

The outdoor monitoring device is abnormal. It does not affect the system performance.

Possible Causes

The temperature of the outdoor monitoring device is abnormal.
