Alarm Information: The pointer of AU is lost, and invalid pointer or NDF is received in
eight consecutive frames. The alarm indicates that the higher order path at the local
end does not receive the signal from the remote end, which is due to that the pointer
adjustment is too great.

Effect on the System
All the relay receive signals transmitted on the SDH link may be interrupted.
Possible Causes
1.
The signals sent from the upstream equipment to NR8250 equipment contains the
AU-LOP signal.
2.
The RTUB board that reports the alarm is faulty.
Handling Procedure
1.
Ensure that the signals sent from the upstream equipment to the NR8250 equipment
do not contain the AU-LOP signal.
2.
Check whether the clock configuration is correct.

If yes, go to step 3.
l
If no, configure the clock again.
3.
The alarm is caused by RTUB board failure. Replace the board.
