Correct sitting posture of driver and passenger
Correct sitting posture of driver
Driver’s gesture during driving directly leads driver’s fatigue and
driving safety.
Driver shall follow below instruction for your safety and reduce the
risk of death and injury in case of an accident:
– Adjust up/down inclination of steering wheel and ensure the space
between the air bag and driver’s chest shall be no less than 25cm.
– Correctly adjust the seat head rest (refer to page 132).
– Adjust the seat forward and backward to ensure effective
operation of accelerator pedal, brake pedal and clutch pedal with
slightly bending leg.
– Adjust the backrest till your feel comfortable and sit straightly and
your back shall completely contact with the backrest.
– Wear the seat belt correctly (refer to page 030).
Warning!
● Adjust the steering wheel to align it with driver’s chest in order
to reduce injury as possible caused by triggered air bag.
● The air bag may fail to protect the driver if the space between
the steering wheel and driver’s chest is small, instead, it may
even cause serious injury.
● The driver shall always hold the steering wheel with two hands
at the position 9 o’ clock and 3 o’ clock on the outer ring and
ensure it is clear to see the LCD and indicators on instrument
panel.
