12.1. Alarm Presentation Basics
There are three "grades" of alarms on the PPM3 – high, medium, and low – and
they all present in different ways as described in the following two tables.

serious (e.g. parameter limit violations)
A single lower-pitch tone
repeated every 20 seconds
A "low grade" alarm indicating a
