2.3 Renewable input
There ZIGOR SOLAR HIT3C system has a renewable resource input, designed mainly for an import from a
photovoltaic field.
The renewable resource input has the following characteristics:
•
Capable of handling photovoltaic input power of up to:
o
180kWp in the case of the ZIGOR SOLAR HIT3C 150.
o
120kWp in the case of the ZIGOR SOLAR HIT3C 100.
o
60kWp in the case of the ZIGOR SOLAR HIT3C 50.
o
35kWp in the case of the ZIGOR SOLAR HIT3C 30.
•
Input voltage from 420Vdc to 700Vdc. Maximum input voltage 880Vdc.
•
It allows the use of any kind of panels. Monocrystaline and polycrystaline solar panels are recommended.
•
The system prioritises the energy from this input over the remaining power sources.
•
Optionally, the current from the different branches of the PV field can be controlled by means of the ZIGOR
SOLAR SB16 STRING Box. (Optional.)
•
System controlled input isolator.
2.4 Battery
The ZIGOR SOLAR HIT3C system has to coexist with a battery for the storage of immediately available power,
for start-up spikes, low transitory generation, or other transitory circumstances in the operation of the installation.
The battery connection has the following characteristics:
•
Nominal voltage value of 350Vdc. Battery voltage range between 300Vdc ~ 420Vdc.
•
Battery capacity value up to:
o
3000Ah, in the ZIGOR SOLAR HIT3C 100 / 150 model with 300A charger.
o
1000Ah, in the ZIGOR SOLAR HIT3C 100 model with 100A charger.
o
500Ah, in the ZIGOR SOLAR HIT3C 30/50 model.
•
Different types of battery can be used, Pb sealed (VRLA, GEL), Pb flooded, LiFePO4.
•
Adjustable load current value.
•
Floating and fast charges.
•
Internal short-circuit protection.
•
Capable of managing the nominal power of the system.
2.5 Grid / Unit Input
The ZIGOR SOLAR HIT3C system has a non-renewable resource input to which an external electricity grid,
emergency generator unit or any other power source in the form of alternating three-phase grid can be applied.
The network/unit input has the following characteristics:
•
The values of the input network will be factory adjustable for any kind of grid, both 50Hz and 60Hz.
•
Capable of managing the nominal power of the system plus the battery charge.
•
Internal short-circuit protection.
•
ZIGOR SOLAR HIT3C systems have a potential free output to control the supply of power, contactor cut-out
or emergency generator unit start up, depending on each installation.
